From Steve Broker:
2/19/08 - Woodbridge, West Rock Ridge -- pair of COMMON RAVENS.
First observation this season of the ravens using the cliff face in
the immediate vicinity of the 2006 and 2007 stick nest. Repeated
landing on cliff ledges and trees by both birds. Aggressive pursuit
of an immature Red-tailed Hawk, driving it from the area. Then,
confirmation that nest repairs have begun when one raven was observed
carrying a curved stick to the nest and positioning it.
