[CT Birds] Monk Parakeets in Westport

They are indeed Monk Parakeets or Quaker Parakeets in the pet trade. They
have been in our area for some years now, first along the shoreline but now
inland. I live in neighboring Southport, about a mile from the shore, and
have had them coming to my feeders for the past 5 or 6 years. I now have a
flock of up to 42 that visit regularly. I often get "flagged" for them on
my Feederwatch reports, meaning "Large number, are you SURE???"
