[CT Birds] Carolina wren marking

I had a different view of my Carolina wren this afternoon, and  noticed on 
the back of its head a white spot.
Is that indicative of something?  I didn't see it  mentioned in any of my 
birding books;  unless it was just a head feather  moulting.
