3/1 - New Mexico
Just returned from a great 2 weeks of birding in New Mexico with Charley West.
We hit all the hot spots. I added 10 birds to my life list. We had a total of 119 species.
Although I'm not upset to see a raptor knock off a passerine at my feeder or elsewhere
I was somewhat unnerved to see 3 Ravens partaking of a Sand Hill Crane that had not yet expired! It was reminiscent of Timber Wolves and how they function. In it's way it helps me to appreciate the ways of nature a little more.
