3/2/08- Essex to Chester, CT Audubon Eagle Viewing Cruise aboard the RiverQuest- 1 GOLDEN EAGLE, 18 BALD EAGLES, 2 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS, 37 GREAT CORMORANTS, 1 DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANT
3/2/08- Milford Point, 10 GREEN-WINGED TEAL, 18 CANVASBACK, 1 IPSWICH SAVANNAH SPARROW (at the feeder's)
The Golden Eagles was a 2nd year bird, found near the north end of Selden's Island around noontime. This is the same area that Golden Eagles have been seen in past years, with land based viewing possible from the Deep River town landing.
