[CT Birds] Milford Point Waterfowl

Just took a quick look out at the low tide to see how the waterfowl are building here at Milford Point. The birds were out towards the opening to the Housatonic River, but there were certainly more ducks than this weekend. As I went to count the Green-winged teal, which were constantly moving all day, I found a male Northern Shoveler. A few moments later as I scanned to relocate the shoveler, he had moved onto a small sandbar with a group of Pintails. I could count 4 males, and at least 2 females, but they were mixed with some gadwall and mallards, so I left a few birds unidentified in this failing light.
