Hi Folks
Went birding with a friend so it was rather casual and no good numbers
In the morning it was overcast with a high tide. Waves were strong
with nothing off shore. All the gulls were sitting it out.
At Seaside Park there must have been at least 1000 Ring-billed Gulls
on the lawns. It looks like they are migrating now.
Also at the park was 3 Greater yellowlegs at the pond. and a Rough-
legged Hawk on the fill hill. There were easily 120 American Wigeon
and same number of Black Ducks.
At. St. Mary's by the Sea we had an Adult Iceland Gull (Kumliean's)
Inside Black Rock Harbor there were about 30 Lesser Scaup and 6
Canvasback.
In Stratford the Tundra Swan was not seen and the only interesting
thing was a Merlin at Short Beach.
At Beardsley Park in Bridgeport we had 2 pair of Wood Ducks.
