[CT Birds] Unfinished text and first impressions.

I fired the previous note off incomplete due to distractions involving
ex-wives and attorneys and phone calls. Mea culpa for multitasking. What I
didn't finish saying was that the attempt to photograph Elenora's Falcons
wasn't particularly successful. The day before we saw a ton of migrant
falcons coming in off the Mediterranean and flying up the coastal ridge but
when we climbed the ridge the next day there were virtually none. Figures.

Regarding fleeting first impressions, I have always found it amusing how
you can sometimes see something and have a wacky fleeting first impression
of something totally wrong. When I saw this albinistic Turkey Vulture I did
indeed instantly think of an Egyptian Vulture. I have also done things like
momentarily think "guan!" when a Wild Turkey flew across the highway. Must
be mental degeneration as I approach being 50! That's my excuse and I'm
sticking to it.
