We attended the Ostrom Program of "Haunting the Pond"  presented by Florence 
McBride.  What a wonderful woman, helping to  preserve Johnson's Pond in 
Hamden.  Her films were so serene and relaxing  in showcasing nature's beauty. One 
can see how Monet got his inspiration  for some of his paintings, especially 
after viewing the third film about the  "ripples". Highlighting the birds of 
Johnson's Pond was especially  informative and entertaining.  Thank you,
