[CT Birds] Changing season

Here are a couple of my favorite March arrivals, both most likely in the
last 10 days and both requiring careful looking in the right places:
Pectoral Sandpiper - in spring most likely in turfy spots like the Hammo
lawn, but also with flocks of yellowlegs in marshes; they'll be gone by the
time the big May shorebird flights arrive
Eastern Meadowlark - get out and listen, they really blend in with brown
early spring fields
