[CT Birds] Redpolls gone?

As Don Morgan observed, His Redpolls seemed to have left, incl the stragglers. 
Well Today, I counted only 12, while yesterday their were 80.
Though I will miss the crowd if they indeed are gone, The savings in cost for Thistle will not be missed.
 

What has surprised me the most is my lack of Goldfinches here in Harwinton this winter. 
Though I have had Siskins and Redpolls daily from Dec till now, The Goldfinches left 
11 weeks ago, and haven't seen one since! 

I guess Goldfinches don't like to share the feeders with another specie that out number them...
