[CT Birds] Station 43

This morning at station 43 in S. Windsor there were quite a few ducks.  I had many wood ducks, ring-necks, blacks & mallards.  There were 2 drake NORTHERN PINTAIL, 1 American wigeon,  quite a few green-wing teal, 5-6 hooded mergansers.  Ten species of water fowl all together.
Speaking of signs of spring, at the beginning of the road into 43  was a patch of blooming snow drops with about a dozen honey bees on them.
