Lots of ducks in the coves, Canvasbacks, G-W Teals, etc.  nothing out of the ordinary spotted. Checked platforms on Great Island-no sign of Ospreys yet. Large mixed flock of  Grackles and male R-W Blackbirds arrived March 1. As of yesterday the Red-Wings have gone there separate ways and have "divied up" the marsh- their songs are my sign that spring has arrived.
