Paula,

I like the Aspect brand hummingbird feeder. Nice and simple, easy to assemble
and especially easy to clean. Sugar formula: mix 1 part sugar to 4 parts water,
bring to boil, let cool and pour into feeder. No food dye is ever necessary, and
can be harmful to the birds. During warmer weather, clean the feeder and use
fresh sugar water often - sugar water is an ideal breeding medium for bacteria
if left too long.

Paul - Along with the other great suggestions, I usually put my hummingbird
feeders out in April and tie a red ribbon to it. Not too long, but long
enough to attract their attention when the wind blows it around.
