  this morning there were between 70 and 80 cedar waxwings in the oaks next to the baseball fields at the east haven town beach. also there are 20 to 25 american goldfinch at my sock feeders and 1 red-breasted nuthatch at the suet feeder along with a large mixed flock of blackbirds.
