[CT Birds] lack of goldfinches

Hi, Kim!
Our goldfinches seem to have "flown the coop", too. They were very active through the fall, and I thought we'd have a good group this winter. But other than one or two individuals, our thistle feeder sat untouched. We had more house finches, but even their visits were few and far between.

american goldfinch the goldfinches have disappeared (from my backyard in Chester where they have always been plentiful)! anyone else notice this?
