More on Goldfinches & the lack thereof: Here at home in Stratford we've had no goldfinches since probably late November. The thistle feeder has remained 3/4 full since then. There have been some House Finches fairly regularly and they've preferred to eat at other feeders with the sparrows & nuthatches.
