Marty,

The Monk Parakeets are indeed Stratford residents. I know there is a large
nest near Bunnell High School, and I am certain there are many others. They
have been at my feeders (on a street across from Boothe Park) for the past
several winters. This year has seen a population explosion, with a regular
number between 8-15 (up to over 20) on a daily basis. It's getting to where
it's very difficult to go outside without seeing (or hearing) them.
