[CT Birds] the Daily Report Compiler

Beyond the fact that, as Roy says, many people do NOT subscribe to CT
Birds...reading reports on the CT Birds list is MUCH easier if it is
organized in a clear and concise manner. They don't do much for anyone if
you have to work to find the date or location, especially when you do not
have much time (or you're Roy). It can be nice to see who the author is too,
without having to figure it out from their email.

I'm sure many people who are on CT Birds also like the Daily Report as a
summary of the rare birds for the day (without reading through everything
else) - which is what it's meant to be.
