3/16 - Madison, Hammonasset State Park, at the Swan Pond (about 50 yards  
west of the traffic circle on the right), 7 male CANVASBACK, 10:00 am, good  
close-up looks.  In tidal pool adjacent to the parking area at the Nature  Center, 
our first great egret of the season.
