[CT Birds] Woodcock in good numbers in Washington, CT

I just got an email from my friend Peary Stafford of Warren, CT reporting 8 displaying woodcock at the Macricostas section of the Steep Rock Preserve in Washington, CT this evening (15 March), after 7:20 PM. This area can be reached by taking RT 47 from Washington Depot towards RT 202. At the intersection of RT 202 make a right turn. Take the first left on to Christian St.. Park behind an old red farm house on the right on the Christian St. Follow the trial  and cross a small bridge across Bee Brook. Continue on the trail to a large field.
