Hi All,
a friend of mine who is working on a plan to improve Oyster Shell Park in Norwalk. This area is not far from the Stepping Stones Childrens Museum.
One of the goals of the project is improving habitat for birds in the area.
His request: I am wondering if any of the people you know in the birding clubs may have info regarding species, numbers and different species at this location. Ultimately, we would hope to create some data that helps document that habitat improvements brings in species, that may not have been there previously.
He wants to start with a baseline and also does not want to disrupt any habitat that may already be great for birds.
Is there anyone who has birded this area and keeps records they are willing to share with him? Please let me know and I can have him contact you directly.
Thanks so much,
Andy Brand
