There are four birds which I believe are Tundra Swans at the Natchaug
State Forest Beaver Dam Marsh. Two are pure white, and two have
white bodies with light gray necks. All four have jet black Bills,
and I could not see any yellow in front of the eye on any of them.
The upper mandibles are concaved shape curving from eye to tip, which
I believe eliminates Trumpeters as a possibility. There were four
swans there a week or so ago on which I thought I could see orange
bills, but I had an excellent look today and all four are definitely
jet black
