[CT Birds] Batterson Pond, 3/21

3/21 Farmington, Batterson Pond   -   1 immature NORTHERN SHRIKE.  (this bird has been here for almost two weeks hunting deep within the thickets along the shore, very strange hunting habits). 

3/20 Farmington, Batterson Pond 5:00PM   -   1 HORNED GREBE, 1 PIED-BILLED GREBE, 6 LESSER SCAUP, 7 NORTHERN PINTAIL, 1 first winter ICELAND GULL and 1 third year LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL.    Gull concentrations getting very large in the late afternoon.
