I walked the Naugatuck River Greenway on this windy day and had a surprise with a Red-throated Loon in the bay at the confluence of the Naugatuck and Housatonic Rivers. Also, were Rusty Blackbirds, Black Vultures, Red-tailed Hawk, and a Sharp-shinned Hawk flying up the railroad tracks.

A week ago at the Branford river marsh I had a No. Harrier. I was hoping for one but thought the marsh was too small. I also had Pintails at the same time everyone was reporting them.
