[CT Birds] I am getting spoiled

Today wsa probably the last day I was abe to bird during my spring break from school.  I was hoping for a fun day in the field and hoped to get a few photos.  The wind put a damper on my activities and on my spirits and I returned home after about 4 hours out, feeling sullen over hopes not realized.  I was putting my field notes into my computer when I looked at the list of birds I was entering and realized that , not too many years ago, I would have been over the moon, even if it had represented an entire day in the field.  In four hours and not going ten miles away from home I saw a Greenland ( flavirostris) Greater White-fronted Goose, an adult Red-headed Woodpecker, and four Tundra Swans.  I am really getting spoiled.
