An osprey has returned to the cell phone tower at the Orange Town Dump.
This is the third year that a Pair has been returning to that cell phone tower.
Right now I saw only one. The cell phone tower nest is not one that can be
monitored very well, since it is so high up. I think the ospreys may fish at
the residential pond by Indian River Rd. on Milford/Orange line. I did see
an osprey at Wright's Pond in Orange once last year, which is about 1 1/2
miles from the town dump.
The town dump site is host to several species-monk parakeets, pigeons,
starlings, house sparrows and red tailed hawks.
