I sent this to the list yesterday but it appears it never made it. Perhaps
I used the wrong address.

Very unproductive day at Hammonasset today. (Mon, 3/24)
In the west side pond the are still 2 Drake Canvasbacks.
In the brush near the rotary I saw my first Chipping Sparrow of the season.
In the campground there is still at least 1 Pine Warbler and the leucistic
Robin, but very little else.

I stopped at Station 43 in South Windsor on the way home and there is a
smorgasbord of common ducks there now.
Many Black Ducks, Ring-necked Ducks and Mallards.
4 Northern Shovelers
4 American Wigeons
2 Pin-tailed Ducks
6 (or more) Green-winged Teal
10 (or more) Blue-winged Teal
20 (or more) Wood Ducks
4 Canada Geese
plus 1 female Belted Kingfisher and 2 Red-tailed Hawks

Don Morgan
