3/25/08: Branford yard watch – Woodpeckers highlighted afternoon watch – a
pair of Hairy Woodpeckers, 3 Downys (2 f, 1 m), a pair of Red-bellied
Woodies, and a new bird to my yard – a male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker feeding
on suet.  One Brown Creeper feeding on suet and ‘bugging’ on trees.  One
Great Blue Heron in the pond behind my property; other arrivals - a pair of
Mockingbirds (one today at the suet feeder); a dozen or so common grackles;
two song sparrows
