[CT Birds] Owl Reports

All,

Without going into the specifics of the argument, I simply have to say this
- when posting information on the internet (as you are doing with a list
such as this one) you are exposing it to everyone. This is not simply going
to the inboxes of a group of friends. It is available for absolutely anyone
to see. I highly doubt that any of us can say that we know every single
person who is subscribed to this list. Beyond that, it can be viewed online
without subscribing to the list.

The "regulars" (and I am NOT one of them) are people who are known to be
trusted, responsible, and ethical birders. While I am sure the vast majority
of the people reading this fall into these categories, not everyone does. I
know we all want to give the general public the benefit of the doubt, but
the birds should come first (and not our desires).
