[CT Birds] red tail Vs. red shoulder

i was sitting in my living room when i saw a big raptor land in a tree out side.  i got up and ran out side.  it was a red tail.  i usally see red shoulers.  about 30 secomts the red shoululder ripped through the sky and slammed into the red tail.  they fought for 5 more minutes then flew off.  a few minutes later my freind rode his bike by and i told him about him "the battel" and he asked me "did he eat it"
   
   
  on monday i was off from school so i rode around old saybrook i saw my first osprey and got  a really cool picture of it.  at hammo i saw my first barn swallow.
