To those who want to attract birds to their property, and want to do it as best you can for the welfare of the birds you are attracting... 

I would like to offer an opportunity for those who want to put up Breeding bird boxes for the first time, and may not know the proper way to make, mount, place and/or protect them from weather and predators.

Our objective in doing so is not just to supply birds a breeding box to use, but to insure that they can have the same, and hopefully a better chance of fledging young then in the wild. In many cases, boxes are put up with no thought towards safety for the birds that use them, and as Dave Rosgen would say - "They Become Death traps!"
