>From Ken Elkins and Frank Gallo:
3/27 - Milford, CT Audubon Coastal Center -- 1 PINE WARBLER, 16 COMMON REDPOLLS
South Windsor, Vibert Road - 12 WILSON'S SNIPE
South Windsor, Station 43 -- 2 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, 6 BLUE-WINGED TEAL, 11 NORTHERN PINTAILS, 1 NORTHERN SHOVELER (male), 3 WILSON'S SNIPE
While not CT Daily worthy, we did have our FOS Eastern Phoebe, and a group of 9 Tree Swallows working over the marsh. The ducks at Station 43 included 60 or so Ring-necked Ducks, 4 American Wigeon, 4 Gadwall, 25 Green-winged teal, and at least 25 wood ducks. They were moving quite a bit for the middle of the day. I was surprised by the lack of raptors- only 3 red-tailed hawks along that entire stretch from Vibert Road to Ferry Lane.
