[CT Birds] touching owls

Hi all,

I haven't followed the owl discussion and I missed the details of the Hammo story, but I did just pick up on Nick's comment about touching owls.  If no one has said this already (apologies if they have), everyone should know that if you do grab/touch an owl, you are likely in violation of federal law (probably state law too).  Capturing birds is only permissible if you have all the necessary banding/collecting permits, so you really shouldn't do it with any bird for any reason (unless of course you have the permits).
