I was able to get out to East Rock Park for about 30 minutes Sunday morning. What a beautiful day it was. I walked the loop from the covered bridge to the first bridge and back and saw a number of Rusty Blackbirds and Golden-crowned Kinglets. I think I also saw a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, but couldn't get a confirming look after the first flash of what I thought was red.
Can't wait for warbler season!
