[CT Birds] Bullock's Oriole Mon. 3/31

I arrived at 60 Orchard in Canaan about 8:15 am and left  about 10:00 am.  
I'm happy to say the bird appeared at least 4 times for  fairly brief visits to 
the feeder between about 8:45 and 9:15.   It  went to the sunflower hearts 
feeder and ignored the orange feeder which has now  been hung nearby.  Shortly 
after, it started first raining, then snowing,  bird traffic slowed greatly and 
I did not see the oriole again.  I tried  for it last Friday, but I did not 
arrive til about 10:15 am and I, along with 4  or 5 others, never saw it before 
I left at 1:15 pm.  It was quite dreary  then too, so it may be the time, the 
weather, a combo of the 2 (or neither, of  course) which determines when it 
frequents the feeders.  On Friday Ingrid  told us they usually see it very early 
in the am.    That's a  life bird for me, and many thanks to Ingrid & Tom 
Schaefer for  their hospitality.  Ingrid was a gracious hostess to a bunch of us  
 when we saw her on Friday.   No other birders when I was there  this am BTW. 
 Also, I saw 2 Black Vultures circling several times while I  was watching.
