[CT Birds] NHBC "First Weds" Retiree's field trip

We met this morning at 8:00 AM at the entrance to Hammo to begin a windy but otherwise pleasant outing.  There were 8 participants.  We saw 51 species with notables: 
  Tree swallow (1), Fox Sparrow (2), Pine Warbler (2), Sanderling (25), Boneparte's Gull (20?),
  Red Throated Loon (1), Common Loon (1), Surf Scoter (4), Northern gannet (5) and the last bird to be seen, Snow Goose (1). Thanks to all the participants for their "keen eyes and ears."
