In Hamden on Farmington Canal Trail behind Cascade Banquet facility on Sherman Av. On trail just beyond the fenced in Lockwood Farm Property. Bird was in Low thickets. I was able to coax it out for positive ID. First of season for me. Also seen 1, possibly 2, male Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers in the same vicinity. Phil Asprelli
