For those that are unaware, Northern Orioles LOVE grape jelly. I wonder if this is the same with the Bullock's Orioles.

They love mealworms more!! :)))))))))))))) Try them in the grape jelly cups.
Today there was definitely love in the air around here! The male bluebird was sweetly feeding the female who is actively nest building. Not for anything but as I watch him show her what a good provider he is, I am chuckling as he collects the waxworms from the patio where I have just tossed them. :)))))))
There was a triangle of red bellied wp's, 2 males, one female, with the males making quite a ruckus over the beautiful female. The resident male cardinal was also feeding the female ever so gently waxworm treats. A pair of flickers are together every morning at the suet.
Yesterdays winds brought, finally, my first phoebe of the Spring, and although not banded, not rehabbed, very obviously knows his way around here, as he is already eating mealworms at the feeding areas. So NICE to see as I truly enjoy this feisty little flycatcher with it's constant tail pumping!
The pond has been deafening the last few nights and is is covered in wood frog and peeper eggs.
