This morning at station 43 in South Windsor, the duck numbers were down. There were 4-5 American Wigeon, about 30 ring-necked ducks, 3 Northern Shovelers, few Green-winged teal. I heard one call from a VIRGINIA RAIL in the marsh. Also a few Tree Swallows were flying over the pond. At Vibert Road, also in S. Windsor, were a pair of BLUE-WINGED TEAL, and in a rain pool a large number of Green winged Teal.
