[CT Birds] What a redpoll can pack away

10-12 common redpolls continue at my place. Pileated woodpecker this AM.
 
I went out for seed today and decided to add up what has been used since the beginning of fall:

b.o. sunflower:  300 lbs
Nyjer  30 lbs
Suet cakes  38

20 lbs of the nyjer has been used since 2/1/08---mostly by redpolls.  What does a redpoll weigh?  Any math wiz want to calculate the seed weight per redpoll for a flock averaging around 15 birds?

Today at 4PM while in the yard, heard first then saw 3 EVENING GROSBEAKS fly over the house going south. 2 Pine Siskins still singing in yard also...
 Only 6 C Redpolls still here. Wonder how long they will stay? My past record is April 9th back in I think 95? 3 days to go. . . !
