[CT Birds] Somers' Kestrels

4/7/08  Somers,  Ninth District Rd.  8AM and 5PM
pair AMERICAN KESTRELS staking out their territory near one of Tom Sayers 
kestrel nesting boxes.  Looks like they are planning on moving in.  Thanks 
to Tom for all his hard work erecting these boxes around the area.
In Farm Pond at Hutton Rd.  3 Ring-necked ducks, 3 pair Green-winged teal, 
20-30 Tree swallows swooping the pond in the PM.
