Tom your info about Bonaparte's Gull numbers in the Chicago vicinity is
interesting. Currently Bonaparte's Gull is considered stable or increasing
overall according to data available from Cornell, Audubon, and other
sources. These sources may be dated by a few years (Maybe 5 years?). As
John Ogren noted, and you have now added, there are a number of recent
reports of declines locally from a variety of locations. Does anyone have
more info on the current state of Bonaparte's Gulls globally that contrasts
with the published info from Cornell and Audubon?
