April 8 in Simsbury,off Ironhorse Blvd in the area bordering the marsh, a
NORTHERN SHRIKE. I tried to make this a Loggerhead because of the late
date but couldn't. The bird was too much like a Northern and we have had
at least a couple in Simsbury all winter. If anyone is in the area and
can prove me wrong I would welcome the correction. In the same area, the
Great Blues are back in their nests in the marsh.
