At 6:30 tonight a bird showed up in my yard that I have never seen. It's
about song sparrow or house sparrow sized and vaguely resembles a female HOSP
except that it has gigantic white wing bars. I managed to take 2 pictures
through 2 panes of glass and a screen door in the fading light, so the pics are
terrible - but I got what I got. I have manipulated them and enhanced them
as much as possible. The actual bird appeared to have a grayish breast. Any
thoughts appreciated.
