[CT Birds] Bonaparte's Gull - Old Lyme

This is not a current report but I made a mental note years ago about  
spring flocks (small) of Bonapartes feeding just east of where  
Griswold Point connected to the upland.  At low tide one could see  
this peculiar (rare?) geologic feature - a more or less level/ 
horizontal bench of cobble - the Bonapartes were foraging in the pools  
amongst the cobble.
