[CT Birds] Hummingbird?

This won't answer your question, but here's some background --
The hummingbirds.net website, with its wonderful map of Ruby-throat
migration through eastern US, is run by Lanny Chambers, a bander and hummer
enthusiast who lives in St. Louis. He does not reveal the identity of his
reporters, to protect their privacy. (On my website, on the other hand, I
post the names of reporters, since I believe that it improves people's
truthfullness and accuracy to be held accountable.) So, I don't know either
who reported the 4/11 Ruby-throated in CT; however, Lanny does share the
location of most of his reports with Journey North, and probably the
location will appear on that site shortly.
Even here in MA, where so many people post to Massbird as well as other
local bird listserves, we often never know who sent in the reports to
Lanny's website. Perhaps they are gardeners, etc. and not active birders.
