4/12 - Stratford yard  -- 1 BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER


My father found it this morning in the wetlands right next to the pond. I
believed I heard the wheezing yesterday, but then thought better of it  - no
way our little spot would have the first Vireo and Gnatcatcher. I didn't
tell him about this, and today, in the exact same spot as my "fantasy", he
found it.

We have quite the early crowd! Now we just need some warblers down here.
