[CT Birds] chipping sparrow in Waterford

4/12 -- first chipping sparrow of the year in the yard today under  feeder.

What I have not seen at all in our yard this spring were any fox sparrows, as 
compared with last March and April when there were many here.

 The 2 red-breasted nuthatches, as well as juncos and white throated sparrows 
continue but in much smaller numbers.
