[CT Birds] Somers Feeder Birds

4/12  Somers yard
After spending all of yesterday birding at the shore
(saw the Pectoral Sandpipers and nice pair of Blue-winged Teal at Hammo and 
lots of shore birds including 6 Oystercatchers at Mennunketesuck flats) I 
had to stay home today for yard work.
I was rewarded with an all day barrage of several PURPLE FINCHES including 
the most gorgeous rosy males at the sunflower feeder, 1 COMMON REDPOLL at 
the window feeder and later at the nyger seed and 1 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH at 
the suet tree.
